# Data Deletion Instructions

#### How to delete your account and personal data

Users can delete their account and associated data at any time by following the steps below:

#### 1. Log in to your account

The user must authenticate platform.1msg.io using their registered credentials.

#### 2. Go to account settings

Navigate to **Settings → Account Settings → General → Delete Account**.

#### 3. Request account deletion

Click the **“Delete Account”** button.

#### 4. Confirm deletion via email

For security purposes, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address linked to the account.\
The deletion process will only proceed after confirmation via this email.

### Deletion process timeline

* After confirmation, the account is **marked for deletion immediately**.
* The actual permanent deletion of all data occurs within **14 days**.
* During this 14-day period, the account is in a **pending deletion state**.

#### Cancellation of deletion request

* Within 14 days, the user may **cancel the deletion request** at any time.
* If the request is cancelled, the account and all associated data will be **fully restored**.
* After the 14-day period, cancellation is no longer possible and deletion becomes permanent.

### What data will be deleted

Once the deletion is finalized, the following data will be permanently removed:

* All registered communication channels (integrated accounts and services)
* Closure of access to all sections and login methods
* Message history and conversation data
* Stored files and media content
* Internal storage data
* Data shared with integrated third-party providers
* Linked payment methods and saved cards

### Data retained after deletion

Some data may be retained only where required for legal, financial, or accounting obligations:

* Financial transaction records
* Accounting and billing-related information

However, all retained data is **anonymized and cannot be linked to the user’s identity**.

### Important notes

* Account deletion is irreversible after the 14-day grace period.
* During the pending period, users can restore their account by cancelling the request.
* After final deletion, all integrations and services connected to the account are permanently removed.
